Inspiration - PARADE RULES

Parade Rules

No written words, logos, signs or advertisements allowed in the parade. The parade will be about the art and the people performing it, not an opportunity to promote your group, company or product.
No motorised vehicles.
Keep it hand-driven. No decorated flatbed trucks with big speakers.
(With the exceptions of motorised wheelchairs and the legally-required
vehicle marking the end of the parade.)

These rules, which help to insure a handmade, non-commercial community event, are adapted from the Fremont Summer Solstice Parade in Seattle, Washington, USA who adapted their rules from the Summer Solstice Celebration in Santa Barbara, California.Source:Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade
